Executive Board
*Elected during March PTA Meeting of prior School Year *Must attend both monthly E-Board and PTA Meeting President: Runs the PTA meetings, represents and speaks on behalf of the PTA, attends district/council meetings and supports all the volunteers. Treasurer: Manages the budget, writes the checks, balances the books, and presents the monthly finance report to the PTA. Secretary: Takes minutes, presents prior month minutes for approval, records attendance, and maintains the records of all meetings. VP of Communications: Responsible for producing weekly Pioneer News newsletter, Facebook page, overseeing all communications sent from PTA and overseeing the webmaster with the Pinetree PTA website VP of Membership: Coordinates the membership drives and ensures that we can fairly represent our Pinetree community. VP of Ways and Means: Responsible for overseeing all fundraising efforts such as the Academic Olympics and catalog fundraisers. VP of Programs: Oversees the planning and successful completion of PTA programs including the School Carnival and School Dance. Historian: Responsible for photographing all PTA events and tracking volunteer hours. Auditor: Twice per year examines and prepares a report on the PTA financial books. The following E-Board position is appointed by the PTA President: Parliamentarian: Advises on parliamentary procedure. This position is ideally held by someone familiar with PTA and/or Roberts Rules. |

*Appointed by PTA President and Executive Board at the beginning of the School Year *Requested to attend monthly PTA Meetings to report on position Book Fair: Oversees the planning and successful completion of the twice yearly Book Fair Fundraiser Box Tops: Oversees the Box Top Program, the submissions and prizes for meeting goals Celebrations Around The World Coordinator: Oversees the planning of the annual Celebrations Around the World Event Chili Cook-off Coordinator - Oversees the planning of the annual Chili Cook Off Event Family Night Coordinator - Oversees the planning of our free family nights for our Pinetree families Holiday Shop - Oversees the planning and successful completion of the yearly Holiday Shop for our Pioneers Hospitality - Oversees the planning of the teacher hospitality for the Conferences and Teacher Appreciation Week PTA Office Coordinator - Helps make and distribute copies of the PTA Fliers to our teachers Reflections - Oversees the planning and successful completion of the yearly PTA Reflections Art Program Restaurant Night Coordinator - Oversees the planning and successful completion of our Restaurant Night Fundraisers Room Parent Coordinator - Helps recruit room parents for each teacher and advise on monthly deadlines. Spiritwear - Oversees the successful Spiritwear program for Pinetree PTA including design, printing, order taking and distribution. Webmaster - Maintains and updates the Pinetree PTA Website Yearbook Team - Oversees the Pinetree yearbook including creating a team of parents to design pages. 5th Grade Committee - Made of 5th Grade parents who plan and prepare the 6th Grade Promotion Party that happens right after the promotion ceremony. 6th Grade Committee - Made of 6th Grade parents who oversee the 6th Grade events throughout the year including yearbook page submissions, 6th Grade t-shirt ordering, Greek Week and the 6th Grade Food Booth at the School Carnival. |
