(normally held in the Fall and known as the Harvest Festival)
Friday - March 20th, 2020 - 4:00 - 8:00pm
This is always one of the best nights of the year to come and hang out with your Pioneers and enjoy the Festivities. This year we'll have returning favorites including the giant slide, obstacle course, train ride, carnival games, lazer tag, photo booth, Video Game Truck and new this year - bounce houses (one for the bigger kids and one for our tiny Pioneers) and a Petting Zoo! We'll also have some really cool silent auctions, raffles and the return of the yummy 6th Grade Food Booth.
We have two tiers of wristbands for the different age groups:
Ages 5-15 Wristbands (adults do not need wristbands) Presale: $15 - At the Festival: $20
Ages 4 and under Wristbands Presale: $8 - At the Festival: $10
Food Tickets will be sold separately at the Festival
The presale for wristbands is always the best deal! Make sure to take advantage of it before the presale ends Wednesday, March 20th. Pre-ordered wristbands will be available for pickup after school on March 22nd and during the Festival.
Please make sure to submit the completed PTA and Sulphur Springs School District Waiver with your cash/check order or print it out and submit to your teacher for online credit/debit orders. Order forms and waivers will be going home with your Pioneers.
PRE SALES COMPLETE - PLEASE PURCHASE WRISTBAND AT CARNIVAL
Wristbands will not be given to the students unless both waivers are completed and signed by their guardian.
We at the PTA always want to provide the best Carnival for our Pioneers but we can’t do it without the parents and teacher volunteers to help us run everything safely and smoothly. The PTA’s motto is “Many Hands Make Light Work” and we could use as many hands as we can get. We could also use help with setup up (2:45pm to 4:00pm) and clean up (8:00pm to 8:30pm). If you have older kids in Jr. High or High School, please have them come out and volunteer. We will sign any volunteer hour verification forms for their schools.
Teachers have chosen to sponsor some of our attractions and games. Below is a list of signup genius' that you can click on and see the open slots. Please review and signup. You can volunteer a half hour shift (or more) which still leaves plenty of time to spend with your kiddos at the carnival the rest of the night. If you don't see your student's teacher listed below, please consider volunteering for one of the other teacher's attraction or game that is listed. If we don't have volunteers during certain shifts, we'll be forced to shut down that attraction/game during that time.
Flyers have gone or home or will be going home from your teachers for donations to their class basket to put up for Silent Auction at the Carnival. Each class will have a different theme basket, Please consider a donation to you student's class basket as money raised from the baskets fund enrichment classes and field trips. Here are the themes for each teacher's baskets: Adachi (Cleaning Supplies), Ahart (It's a Girl), Andrews (Sports/Exercise), Berentsen (USC), Burkman (Baking), Caskey (Dog Care), Delp (Star Wars), Dorr (Western), Flessas (Pizza Making), Gardina (It's a Boy), Grams/Guzman (Snacks), Hines (Bar-B-Que Items), Nystrom (Candles/Scents), Pithey (Family Game Night), Rayl (Beach Day), Storch (UCLA), Sykes (Family Movie Night), Tyboroski (All Things Disney), Ward (Coffee Lovers), Wiltz (Gift Cards), Winslow (Barbies), Yamauchi (Art) and Youngs (Rainy Day Stuff).
We have some really creative Pinetree Parents. Would you like to create some games for our carnival? Or would you like to run a game at our carnival? All prizes are provided by the Pinetree PTA so all you got to do is make sure the kids have fun. Reach out to email@example.com if you're interested.
6th Grade Food Booth
The sixth grade is in charge of food and we are asking for each 6th Grade Family to contribute if possible.
