Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year

Dear Pioneer Parents, 

The start of a new school year is always an exciting time. I am thrilled to be starting this year as your president, and on behalf of the Pinetree PTA we would like to welcome all of you to the 2014-15 school year. The PTA has been very busy this summer planning and fine tuning the activities that will make this a fabulous year for our children.

It has always been our mission at Pinetree to encourage and support our parents, teachers and students and there is no better way to do that than to get involved in the PTA. There is no bigger thrill for our children than to see their families involved in their education. So whether you can join our executive board, help run a committee, become a class parent, or just simply join the PTA, no effort is too small.

It is because of the strong volunteer efforts of our parents and the dedication of our teachers that we are able to offer so many activities throughout the school year. Our fundraising helps provide funds for our enrichment program, grade level activities, field trips and other family events. 

The vital position of Secretary, on the Executive Board, needs to be filled as soon as possible. There is a description of the position on the volunteer form. Please take the time to read about the secretary position, as well as our committees positions that can be found on our forms page. You can truly make a difference!
