Harvest Festival - Volunteers Needed The Harvest Festival is a major school event and we can't put it all together without the help of our great Parent/Family volunteers. If you're available to volunteer at the Festival, please be in touch with your teacher/room parent to see if you can help with your class game booth or attractions or please reply back to this email and let us know when you're available as we'll have plenty of positions that will need to be covered. We do understand the desire to spend the time with your Pioneer at the Festival but please consider splitting your time. Perhaps spend an hour with your Pioneer and volunteering the remainder of the time or vice versa. This is also a great opportunity for high school students who need to complete volunteer service hours (make sure to visit the check in booth and we'll sign off on hours). Any time is greatly appreciated as we will not be able to offer as many fun attractions if we don't have enough volunteers. Your children's safety is our top priority. Reflections Contest Is your Pioneer working on their artwork for the Reflections Contest? Categories include Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Productions, Literature, Music Composition and Visual Arts. All entries are due Tuesday, October 17th. For more information on the Reflections Art Contest and to download entry forms, please visit our website HERE Coffee with the Principal - Tomorrow! The next Coffee with the Principal session is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 17th at 8:00am. Come learn the latest and greatest updates about Pinetree from our very own Principal Deb Stilson. Family Movie Night and PTA Meeting Our next Free Family Movie night will be Friday, October 27th at 6:00pm. It will be following a brief PTA Meeting and crafts session at 5:30pm. The movie we will be showing is "The Smurfs: The Lost Village." We'll be serving complementary popcorn, juice and some smurfy blue treats. Come in your PJs and bring your favorite blanket to snuggle up and watch the movie. Smurfs is a PG Movie. Be sure to bring a parent or guardian. You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy during the movie. Make sure to come early for PTA Meeting as Principal Stilson will be sharing an update on the brand new Library and Maker space location that is coming soon to Pinetree.
