Harvest Festival - This Friday - 4:00-8:00pm
Presale ends Wednesday for discounted wristbands!!!

Our Annual Harvest Festival will be taking place this Friday, October 20th from 4-8:00pm!  This is always one of the best nights of the year to come and hang out with your Pioneers and enjoy the Festivities.  This year we'll have returning favorites including the giant slide, obstacle courses*, train rides, games, lazer tag, photo booth and new this year - a Video Game Truck!  We'll also have some really cool silent auctions, raffles and the return of the yummy 6th Grade Food Booth.
*This year, we'll also have two obstacle courses, one for the bigger kids and one for our tiny Pioneers.

Also, new this year, we have two tiers of wristbands for the different age groups (we are no longer offering single attraction tickets):
Ages 5+ Wristbands
Presale: $15 - At the Festival: $20
Ages 4 and under Wristbands
Presale: $8 - At the Festival: $10

Food Tickets will be sold separately at the Festival.

The presale for wristbands is always the best deal! Make sure to take advantage of it before the presale ends this Wednesday, October 18th

To pay via credit/debit card, please click HERE and make sure to bring the waiver (link below) when you pick up your wristband on Festival day.

Pre-ordered wristbands will be available for pickup after school on October 20th and during the Festival.

Harvest Festival - Volunteers Needed
The Harvest Festival is a major school event and we can't put it all together without the help of our great Parent/Family volunteers.  If you're available to volunteer at the Festival, please be in touch with your teacher/room parent to see if you can help with your class game booth or attractions or please reply back to this email and let us know when you're available as we'll have plenty of positions that will need to be covered.  We do understand the desire to spend the time with your Pioneer at the Festival but please consider splitting your time.  Perhaps spend an hour with your Pioneer and volunteering the remainder of the time or vice versa.  This is also a great opportunity for high school students who need to complete volunteer service hours (make sure to visit the check in booth and we'll sign off on hours).  Any time is greatly appreciated as we will not be able to offer as many fun attractions if we don't have enough volunteers.  Your children's safety is our top priority.

Family Movie Night and PTA Meeting
Our next Free Family Movie night will be Friday, October 27th at 6:00pm.  It will be following a brief PTA Meeting and crafts session at 5:30pm.  The movie we will be showing is "The Smurfs: The Lost Village."

We'll be serving complementary popcorn, juice and some smurfy blue treats. Come in your PJs and bring your favorite blanket to snuggle up and watch the movie. Smurfs is a PG Movie. Be sure to bring a parent or guardian. You are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy during the movie.

Make sure to come early for PTA Meeting as Principal Stilson will be sharing an update on the brand new Library and Maker space location that is coming soon to Pinetree.

Membership Update - We surpassed 300!!!
We're up to 301 members!  Congrats goes out to our VP of Membership Valeska Duarte for all her hard work in meeting her goal.  It's never too late to join.  The classes with the most memberships will win a treasure chest full of really cool prizes.

Here's a current tally of memberships.  Is your student's class in the lead?  If not, join the PTA and increase their tally.
Membership Forms were sent home in your school welcome packets or you can click HERE to visit our website and join the Pinetree PTA
