2018-19 Pinetree PTA Executive Board Nominations
The nominating committee met on Feb 1st, 2018 to consider all eligible candidates for the 2018-2019 term of office of the Pinetree PTA Executive Board. On behalf of the nominating committee, we present the slate pictured below of officers for the association's consideration. The elections will be held at our next Association Meeting on Thursday, March 15th at 6:00pm. We need to make sure we hit quorum in order for the elections to take place so we please request any PTA Members available to attend this meeting. Thank you.

Many Families One Community Family Resource Fair
Sulphur Springs School districts sends out a special invitation for our families to attend their 2nd Annual “Many Families – One Community Family Resource Fair.” This amazing and informative event will be held on Saturday, February 24th at Golden Valley High School. A flyer has gone home with your child, which details the information about presentations, resources, and a Children’s Program that will be available at the Family Resource Fair. You may also go to your school’s website or the district’s website for information on how to register. Attendance will be limited, so please plan on signing up early! Please be on the look out for the flyer in your child’s backpack or check the website for the Family Resource Fair. We look forward to seeing you on February 24th at Golden Valley High School.

Bingo for Books
Friday – March 2nd, 2018 – 6:00-8:00pm

You could not...should not...want to miss...Bingo for Books Night
March is the month, the 2nd is the day, 6 o’clock pm is when we will play!

Win a game, pick a Scholastic Book!  This is a FREE family event brought to you by the Pinetree PTA. Come celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and have fun playing Bingo for Books with your family in the Pinetree MPR!  Also, new this year, the back of the flyer contains a list of everyday household items that our Pioneers need for the brand new maker space lab in the Learning Center.  If you bring any of those items to Bingo for Books, you will receive an extra Bingo card to increase your chances of winning.

Box Tops for Education
It's time for another classroom contest.  Make sure to keep collecting those box tops and turning them into your Pioneer's teacher.  The upper grade and lower grade classroom with most turned in by Wednesday, February 14th will have a choice of a Popsicle or Popcorn party.  It's such an easy and FREE way to help the Pinetree PTA.

Family Glow Dance - SAVE THE DATE!!!
This year's Family Dance will be a fun rocking Glow Dance.  The date will be Friday, March 23rd from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in the Pinetree MPR and Amphitheater.  Make sure to wear fun bright clothing.  We'll have delicious food, an awesome DJ, photo booth, black lights, glow necklaces/bracelets, glow face paint, and more.  Fliers will be going home soon to pre-order your tickets.  Please note this will be a pre-order event only, there will be no tickets sold at the door.
