Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week is this week - May 7th through the 11th!  We are very fortunate to have such amazing teachers for our kids here at Pinetree. Let’s show our appreciation for all the hard work they do for our children.  Please have your child bring in a small token of affection… a picture drawn or note written especially for their teacher, a flower from their garden, a special craft or a small treat from each child would make them feel so special!  If you would prefer to purchase a gift, the PTA can provide a listing of each teacher's likes and dislikes to help guide you.

On Thursday, May 10th, we'll be hosting a potluck for our Pinetree Teachers and staff.  We're welcoming all our Pinetree Families to donate a dish to express their gratitude, please click the link below to signup and let us know what you'll bring.

Pinetree PTA Honorary Service Awards
Each year, the Pinetree PTA has the honor of selecting those who go above and beyond for not only the Pinetree PTA, but our school and our Pioneers with the PTA Honorary Service Award.  Please come out and join our ceremony.  It will be taking place during our May Association Meeting - Friday, May 18th at 5:30pm

This year, we'll be honoring two retiring Pinetree Teachers, one retiring Teacher Aide and our wonderful Principal:

Pinetree 4th Annual Chili Cook Off
It’s time to heat things up! Do you have a chili recipe that can’t be beat? Prove it at our 4th annual Pinetree Chili Cook Off!  FREE to enter, FREE to judge!

Friday, May 18th - 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Following a brief PTA meeting and our Honorary Service Awards at 5:30 p.m.
Votes will be tallied at 7:30

Round Table Pizza Restaurant Day
Tuesday, May 22nd - 11am to 10pm
This is our last Restaurant Fundraiser of the year.  Round Table Pizza (next to Vons) will donate 20% of your total order to the Pinetree PTA just by flashing the flyer at the register anytime from 11am to 10pm. Please note that Round Table will only donate the 20% of full price orders (any orders using a coupon will not count). Alcohol is also excluded.

Pinetree PTA End of Year Survey
