Welcome Back!
The countdown is on! Only 3 more days until School Starts this Thursday - August 16th! We're excited to have all our returning Pioneers back at Pinetree and to welcome all our new Pioneers. 

Welcome Social / Class List Party
Are you excited to see which one of our great Pinetree Teachers your Pioneer will have for the 2018-19 School Year? Well, summer is coming to an end and the wait is almost over. Make sure to come out to the Welcome Social / Class List Posting Party this Wednesday, 8/15 from 3pm to 5pm. The Pinetree PTA will also be there selling membership and our awesome new 30th Birthday spirit wear. Plus, to help beat the heat, Kona Ice will be there selling their yummy shaved ice and 20% of their sales will go to the Pinetree PTA.

Welcome Social
After you drop your Pioneers off for their first day of School, please make sure to stop by The Learning Center. The PTA will be hosting their yearly social. We will be serving light refreshments and it's a great place to meet other parents, the PTA and ask any questions you may have. We'll be selling membership, this year's new spirit wear and will also be liquidating last year's spirit wear for only $5/shirt. Come learn about the new Spirit Bundles which is an awesome new way to help the PTA and get goodies and recognition in return. Plus, come bid on this year's silent auctions which includes the front row parking spot for the school year, the street sign and upper and lower grade buddy benches. Bidding will be live from the Welcome Social and end at Back to School Night. We hope to see you there.

Come join the Pinetree PTA and have a voice in your child's education.  Please note that joining the PTA doesn't require you to attend the meetings or volunteer although we and your students would LOVE if you did.  The Pinetree PTA was able to increase the membership count in the 2017-18 year by over 10% over the 2016-17 school year.  Let's show that we can do it again. 
Also, the classes with the most memberships will win some really cool prizes.

Spirit Bundles
In celebration of Pinetree’s Big 30th Birthday year, the Pinetree PTA would like to introduce Spirit Bundles as a new way you can help the Pinetree PTA.  In return, you receive great goodies and recognition. We have multiple donation tiers to choose from, you can donate on behalf of your family or business name and one of the best parts - your donation is tax deductible.  This will help get Pinetree PTA on a great fundraising head start for the school year and depending on the tier, you will be able to get everything Pinetree PTA has to offer for the school year.  Pinetree PTA Fundraising provides complete funding for our enrichment classes including art and music instruction, as well as supporting classroom needs, field trips and school wide improvements.

Silent Auctions
Make sure to check out our cool silent auctions that will be running the first week of school. Bidding will start at the Welcome Social (August 15th) and will end at 7pm at the Back 2 School Night (August 23rd). Winners do not need to be present at auction end to win. Locations and times of the bidding sheets can be found in the flier below which will be coming home in your welcome packets.

Summer Box Top Contest
Hope you been collecting those box tops over the summer.  Make sure to turn them in the first week of school to your Pioneer's new teacher as the upper grade and lower grade class that brings the most in the first week of school will win a Popsicle party.
