Academic Olympics Final Tally
The final tally was announced at this past Friday's PTA Meeting. We would first like to thank all of the students who participated. This event made enough to fund the entire first payment for Enrichment and Brain Pop. We could not do what we do without the support of our awesome Pinetree families. Total raised was $12,052.53 which is nearly $4,000 more than last year's Tri-R-Athon!!!
Congrats to the Blue Team who came out on top.
Also, a special shoutout to Mrs. Nystrom's class who raised $1,145 in sponsorship, nearly 10% of the total funds raised. Zoe Starks from Ms. Delp's class will receive the honor of being the first handprint on our new mural wall for raising the most funds by a single student.
Restaurant Night - Toppers Pizza Canyon Country
Our first Restaurant Night of the year has been scheduled for next Tuesday, September 27th from 3:30pm to 9pm. It will be taking place at Toppers Pizza (Canyon Country) located at 18417 Soledad Canyon Rd. Toppers will be donating 20% of all non-discounted sales to the Pinetree PTA. Fliers will need to be presented to the cashier in order for us to get our portion of the sale. You can also call and mention our flier to take advantage of their home delivery. Fliers can be downloaded from our website (click HERE to view), our Facebook page or extras can be picked up in the office. Take a night off from cooking and come out to Toppers. We hope to see you all there!
Who's excited for this year's Harvest Festival??? It's always one of the greatest events of the year and this year it is even bigger! We'll be bringing back some of the favorites including the Obstacle Course, Giant Slide, Train, Laser Tag and Class game booths but new this year will be the Rock Wall, Photo Booth and Giant Sized Games! We'll also have some really great Raffles, Silent Auctions and the 6th Grade Food Booth.
Fliers will be sent home this week with our presale offer. During the presale, wristbands will be $15 each which includes unlimited games, rides and photo booth. We're also pre-selling tickets at $10 for 15 tickets (ticket values below). Orders must be received by Wednesday, October 12 for this presale price.
This will be the best value so please take advantage of it as wristbands will be $20 at the festival. Please send in cash or checks made out to Pinetree PTA with the bottom of the flier (click HERE to download) or go online HERE to pay with debit/credit card.
Carnival Games will cost 1 ticket
Obstacles & Laser Tag* will cost 2 tickets
Rock Wall*, Photo Booth* & Train will cost 4 tickets.
*some attractions will be closing at 7pm due to lighting
Our Pirate themed book fair will be next week - Monday (09/26) through Friday (09/30).
The Book Fair will be open:
Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri – 7:45am-2:45pm
Tues – 7:45am-1:30pm (due to early dismissal)
