Final Academic Olympics Point Tally
We are so very excited to declare the Academic Olympics a huge success!  This event brought in approximately $14,500 (nearly $2,500 more than last year!!).

Congrats goes out to the following classes on the Purple team who will win a set of books for their classroom library (and bragging rights!)
Storch, Woodard, Tyboroski, Dorr
 Big thank you's to the 62 students and Mrs. Stilson who each brought in over $100 in sponsorships and have earned their hand print on our mural wall. 

The winner of the Family 4 Pack to Magic Mountain, congratulations to Charley Vargas in Mrs. Woodard's class for being our top earner.  Charley brought in $1,100 in sponsorships!

Thank you to all those who donated.  100% of your donation goes to directly to the Pinetree PTA and funding our enrichment classes.  Also, a very special thank you goes out to our VP of Ways and Means Kym Johnson and our PTA President Ginny Wells for working so hard for putting this event together.  Lastly, thank you to all the Pinetree Parents who came out and helped run the obstacle course and made sure our Pioneers had a great time.

Harvest Festival - Presale wristbands are on sale now!!!
Save the Date - Friday, October 20th from 4-8:00pm!  The PTA is in the midst of planning what we're sure will be another great Harvest Festival.  This is always one of the best nights of the year to come and hang out with your Pioneers and enjoy the Festivities.  This year we'll have returning favorites including giant slide, obstacle courses*, train rides, games, lazer tag, photo booth and new this year - a Video Game Truck!  We'll also have some really cool silent auctions, raffles and the return of the yummy 6th Grade Food Booth. 
*This year, we'll also have two obstacle courses, one for the bigger kids and one for our tiny Pioneers.

Also, new this year, we have two tiers of wristbands for the different age groups (we are no longer offering single attraction tickets):
Ages 5+ Wristbands
Presale: $15 - At the Festival: $20
Ages 4 and under Wristbands
Presale: $8 - At the Festival: $10

Food Tickets will be sold separately at the Festival.  The presale for wristbands is always the best deal! Make sure to take advantage of it before the presale ends Wednesday, October 18th

To pay via credit/debit card, please click HERE and make sure to bring the waiver (link below) when you pick up your wristband on Festival day.

Pre-ordered wristbands will be available for pickup after school on October 20th and during the Festival.

Please make sure to submit the completed Sulphur Springs School District Waiver with your cash/check order or print it out and bring it to the Festival when picking up your wristbands for online credit/debit orders. A copy of this form will be sent home with the Harvest Festival order form or the form can be downloaded HERE

Reflections Contest
Is your Pioneer working on their artwork for the Reflections Contest?  Categories include Photography, Dance Choreography, Film Productions, Literature, Music Composition and Visual Arts.  All entries are due Tuesday, October 17th.

What's really cool is one of our very own Pinteree Pioneer's artwork from last year's contest which went to the city competition is currently displayed at our Valencia Town Center 

Join the Pinetree PTA

As you see, we have kicked off our Membership drive with a cool "Star Wars" theme. 
Jedi Master PTA, we are!  Join us, you will! 
Come join the Pinetree PTA and have a voice in your child's education.  Please note that joining the PTA doesn't require you to attend the meetings or volunteer although we and your students would LOVE if you did.  The Pinetree PTA had the highest increase in membership during the 2016-17 year in all of the SCV.  Let's show that we can beat that.  Also, the classes with the most memberships will win some really cool prizes.  

We're up to 297 members!!!  That's awesome!  Go Pinetree!
