Fall Catalog Fundraiser
Our Fall Catalog Fundraiser will be kicking off this Thursday, October 25th.  This year we went with a new catalog which includes the popular Mixed Bags Designs.  Your Pioneer will be able to sell in person and also be able to create an online store for out of town family & friends. They can also advertise their store by sending out emails to friends and families to earn additional prizes.  Make sure your Pioneers turn in their daily sales coupons as they sell items for a chance to win additional prizes.  All orders will be due Friday, November 9th.  Proceeds from this Fundraiser go to fund our student's Enrichment classes and Field Trips.  More information to come in next week's Pioneer News.

30th Birthday Celebration
Thank you to everyone who made it out to the 30th Birthday Celebration on Friday.  It was so special to see everyone get together to celebrate Pinetree's 30 Years of Excellence.  Special thank you to the Sulphur Springs School District and the Pinetree Teachers & Staff who made this a really great event.  If you didn't make it out, you can view a video from SCVtv that features the full opening ceremony followed by clips from various aspects of the event including the Pop-Up Museum put together by the Pinetree PTA in the MPR.

Also, if you missed the PTA Spiritwear booth in the MPR, we're now selling the school wide 30th picture taken a few weeks back.  Own a piece of Pinetree history featuring your very own Pioneer Student.  Available in 5x7 or 8x10.  We're also now selling 'Pioneer Pete' Faux Coonskin Caps to show your true Pioneer Pride.

Coffee with the Superintendent
Dr. Catherine Kawaguchi, Superintendent, looks forward to having the opportunity to meet with all the families in our District to share the great work that is taking place to support and enhance the learning for our children. All families are invited to attend a “Coffee with the Superintendent” meeting at their school. If family members are unable to attend the meeting at their school, they are welcome to attend another school’s meeting.  Pinetree's session will be taking place this Thursday, October 25th at 8:00am

Spirit Bundles
This is the last chance to get your Pioneer's handprint on our School Mural wall - Purchase a Bundle (Platinum Tier or Higher) by October 31st!!!
In celebration of Pinetree’s Big 30th Birthday year, the Pinetree PTA would like to introduce Spirit Bundles as a new way you can help the Pinetree PTA.  In return, you receive great goodies and recognition. We have multiple donation tiers to choose from, you can donate on behalf of your family or business name and one of the best parts - your donation is tax deductible.  This will help get Pinetree PTA on a great fundraising head start for the school year and depending on the tier, you will be able to get everything Pinetree PTA has to offer for the school year.  Pinetree PTA Fundraising provides complete funding for our enrichment classes including art and music instruction, as well as supporting classroom needs, field trips and school wide improvements.

Membership Contest
The Pinetree PTA membership contest is rockin' but will be coming to an end on October 31st!  Is your Pioneer's class leading the pack?  The Upper, Primary and TK/K class that get the highest % of membership (# of members/# of students in class) will win an awesome Treasure Chest of Prizes for their classroom.

Let's see if we can bypass last year's membership total.  If you haven't joined the Pinetree PTA, make sure to join today!

As you can see, we have kicked off our Membership drive with a cool "Rock & Roll" theme because Pinetree PTA Members Rock! 

Come join the Pinetree PTA and have a voice in your child's education.  Please note that joining the PTA doesn't require you to attend the meetings or volunteer although we and your students would LOVE if you did.  The Pinetree PTA was able to increase the membership count in the 2017-18 year by over 10% over the 2016-17 school year.  Let's show that we can do it again. 
Also, the classes with the most memberships will win some really cool prizes.
