Have a great Winter Break!
This is the last week of school before Winter Break!  The Pinetree PTA would like to wish all our Pinetree Staff, Volunteers, Pioneers and Families the Happiest of Holidays!  We'll see you back in 2018!  Now, onto this week's Pioneer News...

Holiday Boutique
The Holiday Boutique Shoppe will be returning this week. Give your child the joy of holiday shopping on their own within a limited budget. Prices will range from $1 - $15. Please note this is not a PTA fundraiser, just a service provided by the Pinetree PTA.  All items are sold at cost.
Shopping Schedule:
Tuesday, December 12th - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Kids will do a little window shopping during their scheduled classroom visit to the holiday shop during our preview day.
Wednesday, December 13th - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Kids can shop during classroom visits, permitted visits by teachers and after-school
Thursday, December 14th - 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Kids can finish their shopping during classroom visits, permitted visits by teachers and after-school

Student Council Food Drive
The Student Council is in the midst of hosting a Food Drive that goes through December 13th.  Please bring in any unopened boxed or canned food items (no glass) that will be donated to Help The Children in Santa Clarita.

Celebrations Around the World
Thank you to everyone who came out to last Friday's Celebrations Around The World and a special thank you to all the families who shared their heritage with our Pinetree Pioneers.  We all enjoyed a special performance by Spanish Dancers and a very special visit from Santa and his little helper Elf Pioneer Pete

Pre-Order our 2017-2018 Yearbook and Save!!!
Our 2017-2018 Yearbooks are now on sale.  Fliers will go home soon, can be picked up in the office or you can order online now at the Lifetouch Website.  Prices starts at just $22 for softcover or $28 for hardcover with additional add-ons including Autograph Inserts, Zoom Current Events Insert, Yearbook Stickys and Personalized Cover for extra.  Prices will go up January 31st, 2018 so order now to save.
